Great product. Very easy to install. This part coupled with the dual bearing worm gear kit makes a low end 6500 C3 cast like some of the higher end models. Definitely worth the money. I will buy again in the future.

My father, Mike Sr., first took up making fishing lures as a hobby. He spent countless hours in our basement carefully crafting every type of spinner and fly imaginable while I watched in amazement. Before long, visitors to our home began noticing the quality of his work and started asking about fishing reel parts and reel repair services.
As word spread, our home became a regular stop for anglers looking for reliable repairs and replacement parts. Even while working full-time as a Heavy-Duty (H/D) mechanic, my father dedicated his spare time to helping customers keep their reels in working condition. He also assisted anglers with Fishing reel model compatibility, helping them identify the correct parts for their specific reels.
With demand continuing to grow, balancing a full-time career and an expanding reel repair business became increasingly difficult. Around 1980, my father made the bold decision to leave his job and turn his passion for fishing reel repair into a full-time business—a commitment to quality service that continues today.
