design improvement needed
these bearings are exposed to salt water continually, i have to replace them on 2 of my okumas almost every other month, they rust and freeze up. Does Okuma use a true stainless steel? or bronze, or something salt corrosion resistant? I rinse them off with fresh water, and keep them oiled, they still die!!!
