Installation Notes
When replacing the bail arm, take care not to lose the bail spring or the trip lever located underneath. Clean the pivot point on the rotor before installing the new arm. Apply a small amount of reel grease to the pivot area to ensure the bail flips smoothly without sticking. Check the screws for tightness, but avoid over-tightening which can crack the new plastic arm.
