Shimano Calcutta TE Spool Bearing Bearing Upgrade Now you can finally ADD ANOTHER BEARING to your CalcuttaTE! Here's our latest addition to our never ending quest for upgrades and speed parts, this is one of the best upgrades we've come up with for the TE series Calcutta. Bearing is of ultra high quality SiN34, ABEC 7grade ceramic balls with high quality stainless steel races. The ceramic is truer (rounder, smoother) than stainless steel balls and ceramic also doesn't rust! At the base of the spool, a standard plastic, everyday bushing resides....but not anymore! Now you can add even more silkiness to these already smooth running reels. This kit fits the following Shimano CTE series reels: CTE400 CTE401 CTE300 Possibly will fit TE 50, 100, 200, and 700 size reels as well as Conquest, Curado, etc series as well. The bearing size is 11mm OD x 5mm ID x 3mm W. If you can measure your Shimano's plastic bushing in behind the pinion drive pin, it will need to be this size in order for this upgrade to work. If you clean your own reels, you can easily install this kit. If you've never had it apart, ask us for help or we can install it for you.
