Restore the secure locking function to your classic Scotty downrigger with the authentic #9165 Red Lock Lever. Important Compatibility Note: This specific long style red lever is engineered exclusively for older Scotty downrigger models that utilize the 2-belt drive mechanism. It will not fit newer single-belt or other downrigger models.
This lever allows you to firmly lock the downrigger boom in the vertical position within the swivel mount, ensuring stability while underway or when docking. If your original long, red lever is broken or missing on your 2-belt unit, this is the correct replacement.
To help confirm fitment, the 'handle portion' (the part extending outwards that you grip) of this specific lever measures approximately 2.55 inches. The kit includes the lever, retaining pin, and securing screw for a complete installation.
