Product Description
Here's our latest addition to our never ending quest for upgrades and speed parts, this is going to be one of those parts that will be talked about for a LOOONG time to come. This line guide pawl fit all Ambassadeur casting reels which use part number 5176, 51765, 1116192, 1116134. It is a PERFECT FIT and a super easy install! Once installed, we noticed a much more fluid feel to the levelwind system, and it felt like everything was connected together with perfection. This pawl made our Dual Bearing Worm kits work even smoother and faster! Upon testing these pawls out in the field, in one of the harshest environments available (sandy, silty waters) these babies came back without a scratch on them! The original part is a good part, but these add even more wear resistance and smoothness to your reel. These pawls are custom made and spec'd for us to our standards.....only available here!!
***Note: we get asked many times if this is Quantum's version of this pawl....the Quantum pawl is NOT the same! Our pawl is slightly different size to fit Ambassadeur's specifically. We paid for and own the mold!***
Not sure if you need a new pawl? Here is a short blog post about it: Line Guide Pawls - Is Yours Worn Out?

Fixed issue with line spreader
I was having issues with my line spreader sticking on one side when reeling under pressure. The original Pawl on my 6601 was wearing out, and by installing this one, the problem was solved. Excellent part at a good price.

Wicked performance!
Had my doubts about a small part and lots of hype but I was amazed how well these perform. Going to order some for my other reels as well. A really great product.

Superior product
I have fitted the Ceramic Pawl to all my 8 Abu level wind reels from the small baitcasters up to the heavy salmon ones and found them to long outlast the original metal pawls. They appear to run smoother in the worm drive and do not react to the wind blown dusty conditions of our large Canterbury salmon rivers.
