The long awaited Ambassadeur Ball Bearing Idler Gear Kit is FINALLY here! Kit includes both the 1117079 Idler Gear, specifically cut for the bearing (no c-clip needed), and 1117080 Idler Bearing. Installation is an easy 5 minute job. These new style gears will increase you levelwind speed, increase the durability and decrease friction to give you a LONGER CAST!This kit will fit all Abu round reels from 4000 size to 6600 size that take the 23404 idler gear. If your reel has the 5152 idler gear, you will need to purchase a 23403 Spool Gear to match the teeth on this gear.**Will NOT fit D5 or D6 series reels** Please check your reel schematic before ordering.

**Please note: these idlers will not work in a few models, such as the UC series which take the 23293 idler gear. (the teeth are a different profile) Also, with older model reels, you will not need the spool gear included with this kit as yours will be a different style.
