Replacement
The only con about my Cannon downriggers, is the fact I remove my downriggers from the boat after every fishing trip, and the little retaining washer comes off after a few times and then the soft grip knob gets lost. I just purchased several retaining washers, so I don;t lose anymore soft grip knobs. The knobs are very comfortable for tightening and loosening the downriggers.
