The B80-4301 A/R Claw Plate (black rubber part) is no longer available so we needed to come up with a way to keep these reels running...hence the need for this kit.The original rubber part wore down and didn't allow the anti-reverse dog to engage the cog, allowing the rotor to move backwards, which is why you're here.This kit does away with the rubber 'spring' part and replaces it with a constant pressure spring. The result will be a 'click, click, click' when you turn the handle....that way you KNOW it's working!Kit includes a new custom spring and spring perch.
