H76-2901 BAIL

I ordered this to replace the bail on my Diawa spinning reel that got banged up one day after I threw it to the ground with excitement over a large fish. When I got the product, it seemed to be perfect. After installation it's almost perfect. I can't remember if I have the 2500 or 3000 series of this reel but it comes with a larger spindle for the line. No matter the fussing I did with the part, it seems that it's just like 2 millimeters short when the spindle is at it's highest point. So if I try and open the bail when the spindle is stopped at it's highest point, the left and right edges catch. It still opens but like I said, it seems like it just needs to be a hair bigger. I might be able to bend it open a bit to see if I can get it to clear all the time but that's where it stands now. Otherwise the part was installed and works perfectly. The majority of the time it opens just fine and works as expected. But I had to give it a 3 star because of the problem mentioned above.
