***THIS IS FOR INFORMATION ONLY - WE DO NOT SELL THIS AS A 'KIT' AND REQUIRE YOUR REEL HERE TO BE ABLE TO FIT THE PARTS TO IT***A broken handle post is a common occurrence on a Hardy fly reel it seems....we are always making new ones for repairs. Most of the stock handle posts are made of aluminum and fold over easily. We make our repacements out of sturdy brass to combat this. Even if the threads pulled out of the spool, we can use the original knob and bezel and make an oversize threaded hole in the spool to accept a new post. If you are one of the 'lucky' ones who has lost the entire knob assembly, never fear, we can make a complete handle assy to match the original OR you can choose from a variety of shapes and sizes to suit your wants and needs! The picture shown show a typical repair that we do....the original parts beside the sturdier brass part, the handle assy installed on the spool before final cut & polish, and the final outcome. If you have an old reel that needs some TLC we can handle just about anything, just ask!
