Have a Hardy Longstone and wish you had more pressure from your drag? We have spun a new style knob from 6061 aluminum that you're sure to love. The new knob is almost twice as large as the original offering more turning force onto the drag system and is much easier to grab and turn when its wet out thanx to heavy knurling. The original knob measures approx 7/8" across and the new one measures approx 1 1/2" !
**edit** we don't bother coating these with lacquer anymore as the majority of these knobs are used in salt water . We found that the polishing and wax we put on holds up better and can be polished over and over again easily at home to keep the shine!

Good product but poor quality control.
I ordered two of these drag knobs. They are a huge improvement over the original. One was in perfect condition but the second one had some gouges out of the aluminum. Would have given 5 stars if both were machined as they should be.

Nice size
This knob overshadows the original by a mile, is easier to grab and adjust and just looks good.

love it, it made my previously useless ( drag knob threads were stripped) Longstone reel, into my favorite once again. Better than the original in both looks and function. Only issue is color faded and stained quickly Originally posted April 3, 2014
