This old timer had 2 cracks in the frame. One at the line guide and another on a cross rail.
Reel was missing the line guide altogether which we had to build and fit from scratch. Line guides can be made from aluminum or brass and must be custom fit to each reel.
New handle made from wood which is so much stronger than the original...this is a really common repair in these old Perfects as the plate that the handles thread into is very thin. This handle kit has a countersunk screw from the back side....knob is SOLID! (link to a similar handle kit click here)
